Our Story

Born into a family of teachers, becoming a teacher myself was the most logical step for me. But I thought otherwise. After completing my Diploma in Engineering, I held charge as a stores in charge / Purchase Officer in a reputed firm. Music, however, kept me company during my academic years as well as during my job, as I participated in all the functions and slowly music turned into a passion from just a hobby. Finding a musical streak in me, my family and friends helped me in arranging musical shows for various parties. Entertaining became my new found profession and I resigned my job to follow my heart. But lack of professional knowledge on music regarding theory became a great hindrance. So I enrolled for a short course of Synthesizer at Pune. After winning Laurels in Pune on completing the course, I returned with the instruments & equipments needed to start an orchestra. I was keen and happy to start a new musical journey. But fate had something else in store for me. I met with an accident in 1994 due to which I was paralyzed from waist below due to the spine injury. After the surgery, the physiotherapists too were not happy as there was no response. After some days the doctor noticed a slight movement of the toe, which was because of songs that I could hear from my room. I was moved into a special room which was well equipped with sound systems. The doctor even gave me a keyboard to play while lying. For six months the doctor kept me engaged by either listening to songs or playing Synthesizer. Where physiotherapy showed negative results, music became my savior. Today, I can proudly claim that I am a standing example to show “ Music heals”. Then I decided that Music it would be and may be I was destined to be a teacher and so learning & teaching music became my Life and thus “ Vibrations was born in 1994”. In the year 2005, I started a Small Scale Industrial unit “Global Engineering”. Initially, Global Engineering was engaged in doing all types of Electronics & Electrical Job Works but gradually after a good R & D finally we are into manufacturing a herbal home made Bathing Bar by the brand “AKOOS” [A.K. Olive Oil Soap], which is gaining good market.
